Kanji Help!
#1
1) My

kanji skill sucks!
2) I have to write, read Japanese e-mails at work. I only understand about 50-60% of

the content of the emails..

What is the best way to find out what the kanjis/ words mean?

any help

is greatly appreciated.

There are links to Rikai.com elsewhere here

on Halvsie, but I'll put it up again in case you haven't seen it yet.

You can paste any bit of

text or a URL into the window, click, and it allows you to "read" all the kanji and gives you English

meanings as well. No more looking up in kanwa-jitens or anything. Much faster, and pretty helpful.

I

have no idea why I have this language-reversed version of RIKAI.com on my computer! Out of nowhere.

Sometimes it's helpful, other times annoying....gives me middle school English lessons. Is there any online

J-E 和英 dictionary though?
- Ouço a frase: "Ai, acho feio mulher musculosa!". Respondo na hora: "E eu sou perfeita musculosa."

I

remember you mentioning you seem to have an ever-present RIKAI.com thing going on on your computer -

strange...usually it's only active while you have your web browser going. It would be annoying to have it

on ALL the time, that's for sure. I wonder how you can get rid of it...

As for J-E dictionaries

online, I like Eijiro on the Web (ALC) the best. It

seems to be the most comprehensive. (number9 already mentioned it.) Well, it's both J-E and E-J.
