Japanese podcasts
#1
Do any of you know any good websites where I can download podcasts in Japanese?

As I now have another iPod I'd like to use it to listen to some podcasts and improve my Japanese a bit.

I heard of this great podcast type thing where people actually have guided tours of their favorite places in Japan. For example, you'd start at X station, and the person would walk you through the area, in real time, pointing out what shops are good, what restaurants to avoid, etc. Even geinoujin got in on it, so you a lot of them had their own favorite hangouts and whatnot (dangerous for stalkers )

I believe they are called Podwalks (they're not just in Japan; I just heard they were popular there).

hapacheese - wow, that sounds interesting! I'd love a Podwalk which points me to the right direction of good restaurants!

Thanks number9, I'll have a look at that site tomorrow.

I found this website which is good for people who are learning Japanese - they have various levels of podcasts from beginner to advanced. It's free! If you pay you can also have access to other material (kanji/vocab from the podcast and stuff like that).
