I was wondering.... do young halvsie members consider us (much) older halvsie as indeed old? do you feel there is a gap? and how about the halvsies in their 30s and upwards... ?

to me, I do have a tendecy to feel a bit protective over new young members but once they - you sart posting and become regular poster i complete forget people's ages... Eveyrone is just plain halvsie
Probably applies to any group of people, but I guess it's not as transparent on a forum, and newer members tend to be younger since we old members are all aging together <img src='http://www.halvsie.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

At the same time, societies in many parts of the world, including Japan, is becoming more cosmopolitan (even if it is slowly) so maybe younger halvsies feel as though they have less of a "need" to connect with other halvsies? I dunno.
Or maybe it's because there are simply more halvsies? Growing up, I didn't really meet any other halvsies until I got to high school. Nowadays, it seems like they're everywhere (at least in California). I wonder what the stats are?
I find it even more interesting when we have people of different age group. The users here are nice and it´s easy to talk to each other.
Cali and Hawaii are probably the halvsie friendliest places on earth. Spoken entirely on speculation.

Really? I would have guessed Japan since I keep hearing about how it's cool to be halvsie over there right now, but perhaps the discrimination from the older generation would more than offset that.

Going back to the topic though, yes, I also like that there's a wide variety in the ages on the posts here as I'm sure the older folks can give lots of good advice based on their past experiences.
true..unless the old folks are stupid immature 34year olds like me <img src='http://www.halvsie.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />
