im gonna get metal gear 4 and resident evil 5 when they come out .
Motorstorm (came with the PS3), Heavenly Sword, and Lair. At some point, I'm going to pick up Uncharted, but for the most part, my PS3 has been collecting dust...
Motorstorm (came with system), Devil May Cry 4, GTA 4, and I've downloaded Super Stardust, Everyday Shooter, and Castlevania.

I need an HDTV first..
GTA IV ^^
Soul Calibur 4 looks sick, and with Darth!!

Sick indeed! And I never get sick of playing it!

But too bad we don't get Yoda too...he's so cute, and he reminds me of my daughter when she was a baby...
I'm heard that Yoda is really unbalanced. He's too short to throw and most high attacks can't hit him. That's just bad design

Ack! Really? That's not fair!!!
just got Metal Gear. Very awesome game. Though online MG wasn't really what I expected. Anyways, storywise is awesome.
I've never really understood the appeal of the MGS storyline. It's a mess, really. I suppose it's appealing in that "wtf is going on this is crazy!" sort of way.

What do you find appealing in it? (Honest question, not trolling!)

Sorry haven't been on forums for a while lol. What is appealing about this game is the military type of story, the easy controls, sound effects, graphic, the list can go on for a while. The one thing I like about it the most though is storyline since I have been playing it from the time it was released on SupaFami which for some odd reason lasted longer than my ps2.

It's a lot more sophisticated than before and seeing that the graphics are at it's pinnacle it makes worthwhile to even play frequently.

I've pretty much beaten it several times on normal, definitely worth the purchase. ^^ Though I still play ffxi once in a while which I found to be a lot more of a mess.
For me, the appeal of the military espionage in the story is overshadowed by the more nonsensical aspects of the story (the cloning, the overblown conspiracy theories, the VR-nature of MGS2, etc). But I understand that if that doesn't bother you, then there's something to be found.

As for gameplay, is 4 significantly different from, say, MGS2? Watching the videos, they have certainly added a few features here and there, but the animations still appear extremely canned and stiff, and the AI still seems extremely scripted. How has that come along?
i think it's from エアーマンが倒せない (air-man ga taosenai). i duno what it is, maybe it's an anime.
Been playing Valkyria Chronicles on PS3. It's a *really* hardcore game (turn-based strategy), but features a very beautiful art style that is reminiscent of Miyazaki Hayao films. The story itself is surprisingly good, if a tad bit campy in that bittersweet-anime-sort-of-way.
Fat Princess! and waiting anxiously for Katamari Forever...
I beat Infamous a little while back. Awesome gameplay, horrible story <img src='http://www.halvsie.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> Still well worth it, though.

Haven't played much on my PS3 since then, though. My time has been taken up by Battlefield 1943 and Fight Night 4 (both on X360), and just got a copy of Dragon Quest 9 for DS!

Lucky you getting a copy of DQ9! I'll have to wait until it's released here. I'm looking forward to giving Scribblenauts for DS a try (might even pre-order it to get the hat!) while I wait for DQ9.

Did you finish DQ5? I finally completed the museum...but I STILL haven't completed the last TnT board!
Yeah, I finished it. I didn't bother with completing the museum stuff. The games were piling up, so I had to just move on. I've still got about 8 X360/PS3 games, 3 PSP games, and 3 DS games I need to play through. At least that's all I can remember off the top of my head.
