orthodontic braces worth it?





i had a consultation the other day and they said i have a misaligned bite so they recommended me to get braces.

One of my friend didn't fancy having braces... so had to wear "graduated" gumshields....

I think the dentist took an impression of her teeth and x-rays.... and then gave her about 5 of these clear thin gums shields which she wore whilst awake..... they gradually pulled her teeth into position... I think she wore them over 6 months... I never noticed she was wearing them..
