Apparently 98 pounds <img src='http://www.halvsie.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

I was actually down to 179 earlier this year (from about 211, but I peaked at 225 at one point!), but now I'm back up to about 184~185. I no longer walk to work and don't play basketball weekly anymore after changing jobs, so I've got to be more careful with my diet <img src='http://www.halvsie.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' />

I'm 67 kg now. I don't really have a weight goal. I mean, if I reach 70 kg, do I get a prize? Will I get a girlfriend? No.

Ive been biking a lot more, and trying to walk more. But mostly to or at the beach and such to keep it fun. Drinking a lot of coffee and tea as usual, and staying away from too many sweets. i still need to quit the smoking though. <img src='http://www.halvsie.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> my sister yells at me about that; cuz im usin it as a crutch this whole time.

I've also got a secret weapon. I make a big pot of lentil stew and eat that for lunch a couple days in a row. its high in fiber and very healthy. its not a precise recipe, cuz i just throw shit in there, I make it from scratch, and buy all the ingredients from a middle eastern market intown....

Camry's Old Fashioned Lentil Stew

dry ingredients: 1 bag dried lentils, sea salt, black pepper, red pepper, red pepper flakes, cumin powder, lots and lots of curry powder, lots of bay leaves, a dash of cayenne, garlic powder, a dash of mint

vegetables etc...: 2 big tomatoes, 1 carrot, 2 stalks celery, 1.5 big yellow onions, 1/2 bulb garlic, 2 green bell peppers, virgin olive oil or grape seed oil depending on which one you like, tomato paste or ketchup, 1 package lean ground turkey breast or 2 packaged tofu if you want to keep things vegetarian, 2 tablespoons honey

step 1: get a huge pot and soak the dried lentils for a couple hours until they double in size

step 2: add them to a pot of boiling, salted water, with a bunch of bay leaves inside and cook at a rolling boil for maybe 1.3 hours until bursting

step 3: ten minutes before the lentils are done start chopping all your vegetables into smaller pieces, throw all the vegetables into a saute pan with the oil. At this point add all the seasonings except the mint and extra bay leaves. Cook until the entire room is fragrant about 10 minutes on med-high, but dont stand over the pan cause the heat from the red pepper and cayenne will get you. Then add the tomato paste or cat-sup and brown a bit. Fill the saute pan up with water more bay leaves and simmer down for about 20-30 minutes until i thickens and boils. Then set aside, next to the lentils that you have already strained.

step 4: if you are using the lean ground turkey breast, then start to brown that with some salt and pepper and olive oil. if you want to keep things vegetarian then use the tofu.(im not sure whether tofu works) Cook until browned then set aside.

step 5. remove all bay leaves from the lentils and the vegetable saute pan. Mix in a blender or food processor the vegetable mixture until chunky but not liquid-y. Add the contents to a big pot. Take half the lentils and blend in a food processor or blender until thick and blended. Add the remaining half of lentils to the big pot, the mixed part, and now the ground turkey or tofu. Fill the pot with water to the top, and some more bay leaves, and boil at medium heat until the water level lowers and the whole mixture is a stew-like quality. This can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. At the end add the honey. The honey and mint. The honey seems out of place, but it balances the heat from all the peppers.

serve over steamed rice, with a spoonful of yogurt on top, and some chopped green onion. Hope you can make it come out well, because when i cook i dont really measure i just go by taste and sense of smell!!

Hahahahaha...I've beaten you all by exceeding my weight goal by many lbs.....

Here, Maeku: http://www.convertunits.com/from/mm/to/inches it'll do weight too, i think, but then, you probably already have something like this, ne. btw, good to hear you made it thru the recent spate of wildland fires. Saw a lotta burned down homes around Athens on the tv the past week.
